2019 - 2020

During our Welcome Back to School Assembly, our Executive Officers introduced this year's school theme, "Live Aloha," with a Welcome Back video.  We also met our new faculty and staff members, and then heard important news from various role groups in school.
Our first quarter activities included participation in MoHS's Homecoming Parade, and attending Moanalua High School's Leadership Conference.
While there, our students refined their skills and techniques, and made friends and formed connections with students from Red Hill, Salt Lake, Shafter, and Moanalua Middle School. We also started our after school Ice Pop sale.
During the second quarter, the Student Council held two Recycling Drives, two Spirit Weeks, the Canned Food Drive, and the Pet Wish List Drive.  We also visited Tripler Army Medical Center to help decorate the patients' rooms and nurses' stations, and spoke out against bullying with our Unity campaign.  The Student Council also raised awareness to the national No Bullying drive with our Friendship Chain, and operated the Drinks Tent at our school's Fun Fair.  We ended the quarter with our annual Holiday Assembly, and the anticipated Holiday Dance.
During the third quarter, the Student Council continued with the Ice Pop Sale afterschool, as well as recognizing our outstanding counselors during National School Counselor Appreciation Week.  We also helped publicize the upcoming Aloha Run by standing curbside to raise awareness through posters and signs.
