Birthday Book Program

What is it?

A program to celebrate your child's birthday by donating a book to the library – where we will recognize your child during innovation/library class and also place a bookplate in the donated book.

How does it work?

Our wish list is located in Amazon.

1. List Name:  Moanalua Elementary Library

1. Select a book or two to purchase. ☺ 
2. You can ship the book directly to the school (an option at the Amazon URL) or bring it in-person to the library.  Please include a note with your online shipment or attach the note when you deliver the book to school. 

In the note please include the following information. 

- Family Name

- Honoree Student’s Name

The book becomes a part of the permanent collection in the school's library for all current and future students. 

What else do I need to know?

Birthday Books can be donated the month of your child’s birthday or whenever it is convenient for you.  Summer Birthdays can be celebrated during the month of May.

If you have a specific book in mind that you would like to donate not listed on the Wish list, please email [email protected] before you purchase the book so we can avoid duplicate copies and also allow for a preview of quality and content.
