Hawaii News Now!

As a result of our non-fiction and opinion writing units, a few of my students reached out to learn more about a very cool topic of their choice: RAINBOWS! Eden, Christina, and Madison, all from B4 Classroom, were able to visit the Hawaii News Now Studio and learn not only about rainbows but also about all that it takes to produce the weather segment on the news. A special MAHALO goes out to Jennifer Robbins from Hawaii News Now for taking the time to host our curious learners. Talk about the definition of Self-Directed :) Eden says, "I got to go on the green screen and it was my favorite part. The green screen is used to show the pictures that go with the weather. She holds a remote to change the pictures on the screen. It was super fun!"
